Benjamin Delk is the Integrated Marketing Lead for Thought Leadership at AWS, where he builds global campaigns that shape the future of GenAI and its responsible use. In past roles at AWS, he served as department Global Head of DEI and as the Diversity Brand Marketing Global Leader overseeing all external DEI research, content, and campaigns.

His background includes co-founding the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) teams at both Salesforce and Expedia Group including serving as each company’s first-ever Global Programs Director for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). From 2016 to 2022 combined, Ben guided corporate ERG programs to reach a total of 60+ countries with 35,000+ employee-members, an average of over 50% YoY membership growth.

Outside of the office, Ben serves as an advisor to the Kapor Center in Oakland, CA and course instructor for their DEI Certification program. In 2023, Ben joined Camp Brave Trails, a summer leadership camp for LGBTQ+ youth, as a cabin counselor and Team Building program lead. Later that year, he received the LGBTQ+ Inclusion Award at the annual Diversity in Tech Awards ceremony held in Dublin.

Ben currently lives in Brooklyn with his dog Sunny and spends his free time writing, dancing, brunching, walking, exploring, and engaging with wonderful people as often as possible.
